Keith Crawford

ALCI President

ALCI’s new President, Keith Crawford, is the owner and creative driving force behind Hortus Tuus, a landscaping company based in Belfast, providing landscape design and construction to mainly domestic clients. His company has won a number of ALCI Landscape Awards for Design and Construction. Keith served as Chairman of ALCI Northern Region between 2005 and 2008 and is currently on a number of its standing committees.

Born and educated in Dungannon, he then studied Horticulture at Writtle College before returning to Northern Ireland where he started his career at Belfast City Council and then Castlereagh Borough Council. Keith set up his own landscaping business in 2001 and they specialise in the development and creation of private gardens, Hortus Tuus continues to increase its market share within this sector.

In addition Keith is a regular contributor on BBC Radio Ulsters Gardeners Corner, which has a weekly audience of over 120,000 people. He is also a judge for Ulster in Bloom and regularly gives gardening talks throughout Northern Ireland.
